bored…

I’m sitting here at the technician training school and our teacher shows us some assignement from old mid-season exams… got mine next week and the fun is that we just have to attend and the result doesn’t have any effect on the educational degree we get in one and a half years.

Well let’s change topic. on the 25th of Feb. I’ll meet with some anons and other enemies of ACTA at the main train station in Magdeburg, Germany and make a stand against ACTA. Many other people not only in germany will do the same. Search the net for Anti-ACTA groups and join the fight!

You don’t know what ACTA is yet? search youtube for “What is ACTA” or “ACTA Anonymous” and you’ll find something. In short: ACTA is a trade agreement that seems to put the comercial rights of companies above the constitutional rights of the individual. I don’t like that, I think you won’t like that, and Anonymous doesn’t like it either.

And if this wasn’t enough for gods sake, the European Union is planing another sledge hammer smash against free speach and privacy. It’s called IPRED and it contains all the stuff that so many people hate about ACTA. I ask you now: gather people who oppose ACTA and IPRED and take a stand!

my 2 cents for the day

If you’re an American who believes in civil liberties and the rights of citizens, boycott the Internet today.

If SOPA passes, I’ll quit life. And social contact. I’ll become a hermit obsessed with a tacky piece of jewelry and develop multiple personalities that like killing people and not sharing.

All The Small Things: So the coolest thing ever...

allthesmallthingsminiatures:

I’ve censored the following, in protest of a bill that gives any corporation and the US government the power to censor the internet—a bill that could pass THIS WEEK. To see the uncensored text, and to stop internet censorship, visit: http://americancensorship.org/posts/43106/uncensor

Please Follow This Link to Contact Your Senatorial and Congressional Representatives About SOPA & PIPA

trixiejackmattachine:

Worried about Internet censorship? Want to stop illegal piracy but think forcibly shutting down massive websites (like Google, Wikipedia, Facebook, and YouTube) based on an individual user’s content is a bad idea? Think that it’s a bad idea to give our government complete control over which websites you can visit? Think the way China and Iran censor their citizens’ access to the Internet is at best mis-guided?

Then chances are you’re against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA), two bills currently on their way to being passed by the US government. Want to help stop them? Then let your representatives know. Follow the link above and enter your zipcode to get contact information. Call and e-mail them for quick and maximum impact.

Writing or calling your reps but don’t know what to say? There’s plenty of places online to get a pre-written message you can copy/paste or recite when you reach voicemail. In fact, here’s one right now:

” I am writing to you today about the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA). While stopping Internet piracy and protecting the intellectual and creative property of artists in any medium are both noble goals, these bills are inherently flawed. They create a situation in which companies are responsible for policing the speech of individuals. The ambiguous and overbroad language of the bills will open the door to censorship of free speech by any individual or collective entity. What is perhaps most important, however, is that both bills will effectively allow the government to shut down entire websites. This is the type of censorship we see in countries like China or Iran. I firmly believe that such censorship goes against the fundamental values of the United States, and thus has no place in our country. Stopping piracy is important, but neither of these bills are the way to do it. I urge you to please take a stand against censorship, and vote against both SOPA & PIPA. Thank you.”

SOPA, PIPA and what I try to do about it.

at first here is a link to my status in that I colloect things about the topic.

Link to my FB Status about SOPA and PIPA

Well the most links in that are just for 1 Day but I plan to put everything I collect about that on website. Or maybe put that somehow here on tumblr. Please read an inform yourself about SOPA and PIPA. I’m not from the US so I could not do much about it but at least I could try to keep the information highway online.

If you got anything to add, tell me via the ASK function.

Daniel
